Remember Me???

I really haven't quit blogging! It's been a crazy month, just like it has been for everyone else I'm sure. We've made two trips to Insta Care with this little guy! Don't let his big blue eyes fool you, he's trouble. He can climb our kitchen cabinets like he's spider man. He of course fell, and got a nice cut in his forehead. The doctor glued it up really good, and he peeled it off 3 days later. So they decided they needed to do stitches. We decided it was time to take care of his little climbing problem, so he's been spending quite a bit of time on time out.

We started and finished our Christmas shopping about three days before Christmas. It was a small Christmas but nice. It was fun having a new baby at Christmas time. I think the kids were pretty happy with their presents.

This guy got this nifty car garage thingy. Yep, that's the nice battle wound on his forehead that you can see!

You can't go wrong with Lego's for a five year old. He is so sweet, he'd be happy with just about anything!

This one could have gotten expensive. She wanted a DSI, but it just wasn't in the budget. Thankfully she was happy with the Jenga game and the India Jones Wii game. (My parents spoiled us with a Wii this Christmas.) She must have been ok with it because she hasn't said a word about a DSI.

And I've even been able to get a little sewing done. Here is a quilt that I made for the Moda Bake Shop. Hopefully I will get a tutorial written in the next couple weeks.

And table topper I'm in love with. I made it for my sister n' law who just had a baby girl. I thought it worked well for a baby blanket too. It was such a fun quilt to make I think I just may need to make another one for myself.

I decided to give some crocheting a try. I saw this hat on etsy today and decided to buy the pattern. Wish me luck, the only thing I've ever crocheted is around a baby blanket.

We are going to be blessing this guy this Sunday. I can't believe he is ten weeks old. I wish I could slow things down a little bit. He is getting so big so quick.

Yesterday at the doctors he weighed in at 14lbs.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! And thanks for not giving up on me!

I wish I came up with this!!!

I REALLY wish I could say that I came up with all this cute stuff, but the truth is......I have absolutely nothing to do with it, other than the fact that I'm good at watching T.V. Here in Utah we have a show called studio 5 were they are always having people come on and show their cute ideas and talents. Last week Heather Bailey was even on showing how to make her cute little flowers out of her gorgeous fabric. Anyways, all this cute stuff comes from the imagination of a girl named Kristi McKay. I thought it was so cute I just had to share.

I love these potion jars and you can print off the labels by going here.

I just may need to make a trip to the thrift store so I can make some of these darling books for my mantel that is seeming very bare. You can print some of these labels by clicking here.

I'm loving these and she made them seem so easy to make.

These are some of the cute labels you can print off by going to her site. Once again, go here!

A little Fall Decorating!

Sorry for my lack of blogging lately. I think I'd forgotten how uncomfortable this last month of pregnancy can be. My last baby decided to make his entrance into this world about 5 weeks early so I didn't get to this part. While I'm glad this once is deciding to stay in my tummy until it's a little safer, wow - can I just say I feel huge and my ribs are very sore. I'm really not trying to complain, for the most part I really do enjoy being pregnant and a beautiful baby at the end is sooooooo worth it. So there ya have it, my excuse for being a slacker.

Fall is definitely my favorite Season. I just love it when you start to feel that chill in the air. I love pumpkins and hayrides, sweaters, Halloween, Thanksgiving. I love being warm and cozy in my little house with my family.

I need to quit trying to be creative with my camera angles, it kinda makes ya sick! Not too many pics from inside the house. I can't show you some of it yet because it would show my newest Moda project that I'll post about on the eleventh. I'm also working on a little fall tutorial for a cute shirt, should get it posted the beginning of next week!

Finally - My etsy shop is full and a little shopping of my own!

It's only taken me a few months, but my etsy shop is finally full. I feel like it is such a guessing game. Sometimes I think I've come up with something wonderful and it flops so I guess we will see. So I've taken a bunch of pictures to attempt to sell you on my new little creation. Take a look and give me your opinion, and if you really like them, go click on my etsy shop on the right sidebar!

This one is my favorite, I just may have to go to hobby lobby for some more of this fabric.

This fabric is one of Moda's newest fabrics. It's called Gobble Gobble, perfect for fall.

You just can't go wrong with damask and polka dots!

I've loved this fabric since I first saw it, I also used it on the Monogrammed t-shirt I made for my daughter.

Today I got the chance to go to one of my favorite stores, Tai Pan. I wish I would have taken more pictures, but I started feeling like everyone was watching me and wimped out.....sorry!
This is their red Coca Cola display, I really want that red fridge, not sure where I'd put it, but it's so stinkin cute.

A few Halloween decorations. This store is like the size of Home Depot, but full of Home Decor, I just love it!

Here is their fall tree. Sorry, not the greatest picture. I'll try and get more gutsy and take more pictures around Christmas time.
